Thanks beaniejump for the reply that was the one. I am also looking for the song that was being played at the Roxy before Breakers Revenge, it is a girl singing ist and it sounds like it could be Shadows of the Night but I had no luck looking for it.

I work on a show for teens called A WALK IN YOUR SHOES, where we take two teens with different lives and interests and switch them for a few days - I am looking for a female hip hop dancer (aged 14-16) to switch with a ballet purist the same age.
I am looking for NYC area teens. Any ideas where I can find them?? It should be a cool show. I would appreciate the help. Thanks! |

what upski brekanate,, i believew the track your searching for is Renegades Chant - Afrika Bambaataa & Soul Sonic Force ,, its listed on the back sleeve as Renegades of Funk(Instrumental) but on the actual vinyl its called Renegades Chant (track 2 ,side a )

Try checking out a song called "Tommyboy Megamix". It has al lot of those songs mixed together. Its a mix of a whole bunch of songs by artists that were on the Tommyboy record label back in the early eighties. Like Bambaataa, Soulsonic Force, Planet Patrol, etc. It also has a whole bunch of classic breakdance type of breaks in it. Its a must have.

Does anyone know the name of the song and artist of the track that is being played on Kenny's stereo in his room during the Beat Street scene when his mom walks in? It goes like this:
"Wise man, we came here to throwdown today and play the beat right, so lets do it, we going to rock it, rock it three, rock it four or five times....are you ready to go again? lets do it.. here we go..uno, dos, tres, cuatro.." Sounds kind of like a reggae sound with a hip hop feel. thanks, Mix |

Does anyone know who performed the song titled "Working Woman" in this movie?
Some of the lyrics are: "..such a woman to put meaning in me life"..... "..give me a working woman..." "..settle down and then she be me wife...." "..give me a working woman..."
